celebrating our one month

daryl and i got married exactly one month ago! And we celebrated it with a day of normalcy.

we wanted to do something special (given that we never celebrated any weekly, monthly or yearly anniversary milestone), we figured it was a good time to start. but we ended up cleaning up the house, killing all the bugs with baygon & mortein, mopping the area, stocking the fridge, cooking dinner, then ate and rested. and then we had supper. at least home's now spick and span and momentarily spider free.

but the best thing of the day is picking mexx home from the cat hotel. we missed him soooo much. we (daryl mainly) ended up brushing him, trimming his nails & fur, showering and drying him up. It was a long, long day. but, isn't he the cutest.
