mission go-out-for-a-date

monday date days are precious for daryl & i. sometimes, we just want kick off our shoes and do nothing at home but lately, we've been nagged by our loving friends to get out and go on a date.

so last monday, we spent a few hours driving up and down canning highway looking for the famous and yummy miami pie bakehouse. with our pies, picnic mat and a large bottle of heinz tomato sauce, we headed down to point walter to eat beneath the abundance of blue skies and enjoy the fantabulous summery weather.

...after which we headed to freo where we had dinner at outback jacks :) good service and really yummy steaks.

to all concerned, i have to vouch that daryl's still watching his food and to his credit he had a jacket potato with no sour cream unlike my huge unfinish-able portion of beer battered fries.

it was a good day :)
